Who we are?

Campo Galego is a digital information medium for the countryside that addresses current affairs in all the farming and livestock sectors in Galicia. The journalistic project focuses on divulging information with a service addressed to the group of professionals in the countryside, as well as those in the processing and distribution of agri-food products, a line of information that is of interest to society as a whole, which increasingly is demanding food with quality products that are produced nearby.

The project aims to contribute to the dissemination of an updated picture of the Galician countryside both in Galicia and in the rest of the country. We believe that it is necessary to make known and place value on the initiatives that professionals in the agricultural sector are developing, often unknown to a large part of society and even in their own environment.

Campo Galego, which came to the fore on 11 February 2015, starts with the vocation of plurality and is open to the participation of all actors in the sector. The new medium is driven and co-managed by the journalists Gonzalo Brocos and David González and has a team of collaborators from journalism and agricultural sectors.
